Payments and Returns Policy
Payments
Payment of good are to be made at the time of sale and can be made via credit card and direct deposit. All payments are to be made in Australian Currency. Goods cannot be dispatch until full payment has been received.
Select the product you’d like to purchase, add it to your shopping cart and proceed to the check out. You can add all the accessories that you require and nominate delivery address or depot pick up during the check out process. Currency
Currency payment on this site is Australian Dollars, A$. All prices displayed on www.powermastergenerators.com.au are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include goods and services tax (GST). All transactions are processed in Australian dollars (AUD).
Prices on the Power Master Generators website are current at date of issue and are subject to change without notice.
Warranty
The new generators Power Master sell from our Brand suppliers come with their manufacturers minimum 12 months guarantee and maximum 48 months (may differ between brands – please ask if not sure) and Power Master’s own brand commercial generators come with a 12 month warranty or 1000 hours (whichever comes first).
Warranty period commences from date of original sale.
Warranty on engines & alternators fitted to Power Master Generator products is the responsibility of the engine & alternator manufacture or their representative.
Warranty on Honda, Cromtech, Dunlite, Max Watt, Briggs & Stratton, Hyundai and Yamaha Inverter Generators is the responsibility of the manufacturer or their representative.
Any unauthorised modification/s to the product will automatically void any warranty.
The warranty does not cover any Power Master Generators product that has been subject to misuse, abuse, neglect, accidental or intentional damage or any alteration which affects the reliability or performance of the Power Master Generator product not attributed to faulty manufacture, parts or labour and without limiting the generality of the forgoing shall not apply where the defect arose as a result of the following circumstances:

- Consumable or service items other than those approved by Power Master Generators are used.
- Any service work required has been by a person other than a service agent approved by Power Master Generators.
- The Power Master generator has been operated or maintained other than in accordance with normal practice for this type of equipment. a major failure.
Warranty claims take into consideration that the user has followed the manufactures servicing and maintenance requirements. A well kept maintenance log is ideal for all maintenance, inspections, fluid levels and load test results.
This warranty is the only warranty given by Power Master Generators or their dealers and all other warranties whether expressed or implied under the common law or by the statute which but for this clause apply to the supply of the Power Master Generators or other goods or services pursuant to this agreement and which are permitted by law to be excluded, are hereby expressly excluded.
The customer further acknowledges that no promise representation or undertaking has been given by either Power Master Generators or their dealer in relation to the Power Master generator other than contained in this warranty.
Nothing contained in this warranty shall be read or applied so as to purport to exclude, restrict or modify or have the effect of excluding or modifying the application in relation to the supply of and goods or services pursuant to this agreement all or any provisions of part V of the Trade Practices Act 1974 or any relevant State Act or Territorial Ordinance which by law cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
To the extent that any such act or ordinance permits Power Master Generators or the dealer to limit their respective liabilities to compensate or indemnify any person for breach of a condition or warranty implied thereby, then the respective liabilities of Power Master Generators and / or the dealer for such breaches shall be limited in the case of goods to the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods failure does not amount to a major failure.
Special Product Build
Any special build generators, which are not standard products and are built for specific customer order or specification, are not eligible for return.
Special orders are not subject to cancellation or deferment and are to be considered as absolutely firm orders.
Fraudulent Transactions
Power Master Generators takes active measures to reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions. Should an order be flagged as high risk, Power Master Generators will contact the customer requesting further information to confirm certain information. If the customer refuses to provide further information, Power Master Generators reserves the right to cancel the order. Power Master Generators is not liable to compensate for any loss, expense or inconvenience you may face as a result of a cancelled order.
Shipping
We use a range of carriers Australia-wide utilising Road, Air, and Rail options to get your order to its destination on time and undamaged. Shipping times vary depending on your location.
Power Master Generators is not liable for any delay, losses and/or damage of items due to changes of delivery address after checkout, or mistakes made by buyers. Freight is based on the postcode given at checkout. Any changes in postcode could result in the freight charges increasing.
1: Please do not use P.O. Box addresses. Most items are sent via courier and require a street address for delivery.
2: For some rural locations a door to door delivery service may not be available. In that case the customer will be required to collect from the local freight depot.
3: Large items such as Stationary Generators, unloading facilities at the delivery address will need to be arranged at the purchaser’s expense.
Goods over 30kg will not be offloaded by transport companies under Worksafe regulations.
Goods over 30kg will require a Forklift, Tractor or the like to offload
If you are not at the delivery address Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm we recommend using a work or alternate address for delivery, goods will not be redelivered and will ultimately be your responsibility to collect from the Freight Depot.
All industrial and larger model generators may require access to forklifts or other specialised lifting equipment on site. Please discuss your delivery arrangements with our staff when you place your order.
You can nominate your own carrier or have us provide a freight price on your selected purchase. Contact us for freight price.
At this time, we do not accept international orders via our website. You will need to contact us to organise an international shipping quote.
Power Master Generators cannot and will not accept responsibility for delivery failures or delays by our third party delivery contractor.
Risk of damage to or loss of the Goods passes to the Client on Delivery and the Client must insure the Goods on or before Delivery.
POWERMASTER GENERATORS TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO GOODS FREIGHTED ON OUR CARRIERS. You should arrange your own insurance cover over the goods that you have ordered. Insurance is the buyers responsibility unless otherwise arranged with Power Master Generators in writing before dispatch of goods. For more information about shipping, speak to our Customer Service team.
Due to the Covid−19 pandemic, we emphasise that our delivery dates are estimates only and we will not refund or replace if you change your mind.
Returns Policy
You may need some help with a return. Don’t worry! The following information will help you process your return. For specific product warranty and delivery information check individual product pages.
Unopened Products
You may return any “unopened” products and accessories within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Please send the item back to us in its original condition and packaging and we’ll refund your purchase price. The freight charges will need to be covered by the customer and a restocking fee equivalent to 20% of the purchase price will apply.
Opened Products
“Opened” products and accessories can be returned within 14 days of delivery and will be subject to a restocking fee equivalent to 35% of the purchase price to cover testing, cleaning and repackaging expenses. Simply return the item to us, shipping charges will need to be covered by the customer using the most convenient shipping method available to the customer. Opened returns must be in saleable condition with original materials and packaging.
Cancelled Orders
An order that has been shipped cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard returns policy.
Damaged Products
You must take the time to inspect the goods before you sign the delivery receipt from the carrier. If you sign the delivery receipt without inspecting the shipment you will be responsible for filing a freight claim and arranging for a repair or return of the damaged goods.
Suspect Damage
On occasion, the outer carton may look damaged, but the product inside the box is perfectly fine. If you suspect concealed damage, notate “Possible Freight Damage” on the delivery receipt while the driver is present. This way, if you discover later that the product is damaged, the remedy of a freight claim is less of a hassle.
Obvious Damage
Do not sign for damaged products. If your product arrives damaged, please (a) REFUSE DELIVERY and (b) Contact Us at your earliest convenience so we can process the appropriate claims and coordinate an exchange for you.
Defective/Faulty Products
We encourage you to test your product within 7 days. Please have your model number & serial number ready for a faster service.
In the event a product fault or defect cannot be resolved over the phone, please Contact Us so we can arrange either your choice of: product inspection under warranty and repair, a replacement, or refund.
Incorrect Item
In the event that the incorrect item is delivered, please Contact Us so we can arrange and coordinate either your choice of replacement or refund.
Used Products
Products that have been used cannot be returned. Unless the product is deemed as faulty or defective please Contact Us.

No Unlawful or Prohibited Use
As a condition of your use of our websites, you warrant that you will not use these websites for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions. You may not use our websites in any manner which could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our websites or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of this website. You agree not to hack into areas of this website that are not intentionally made available by us.
Force Majeure
If the Company is prevented, hindered or delayed from performing its obligations under these Standard Terms by an event
of force majeure (being the occurrence of an event or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Company), then
as long as that situation continues, the Company shall be excused from performance of the obligation to the extent it is so
prevented, hindered or delayed, and the time for performance of the obligation shall be extended accordingly.
Termination
Power Master Generators may terminate the contract if buyer fails to comply with any of these conditions or other terms of agreement with Power Master Generators or commits an act of bankruptcy or (being a company) has a receiver appointed or goes into liquidation.
