Payments and Returns Policy
Payments
Power Master Generators will consider your order accepted upon the earlier of the following:
- The issuance of a tax invoice for your purchase, sent to your nominated email address.
- The dispatch or fulfilment of your order.
All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase. We accept payment by approved credit cards and direct deposit. All payments must be made in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Orders will not be dispatched or made available for collection until full payment has been received and cleared.
To place an order, simply select the products you wish to purchase, add them to your shopping cart, and proceed to checkout. During the checkout process, you can select any accessories you require and choose either delivery to your nominated address or collection from a nominated freight depot, where available.

Currency
All prices displayed on the Power Master Generators website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST), unless otherwise stated.
All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Prices are current at the time of publication but may change without prior notice. Power Master Generators reserves the right to amend prices, product specifications, and availability at any time.
Pricing Errors
While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of pricing and product information on our website, errors may occasionally occur. Power Master Generators reserves the right to correct any pricing, product description, or typographical errors at any time without prior notice.
If an order has been placed for a product advertised at an incorrect price, we will contact you as soon as possible to advise you of the error. You will have the option to proceed with your purchase at the correct price or to cancel your order and receive a full refund of any amount already paid.
Warranty
The warranty period for all products commences from the date of the original purchase. Customers are required to retain and provide proof of purchase when making a warranty claim.
Manufacturer Warranties
Warranty for products manufactured by Honda, Cromtech, Dunlite, MaxWatt, Briggs & Stratton, Hyundai, Pramac, Crommelins, Welling & Crossley, Generac, Cummins Onan, and all other third-party brands sold by Power Master Generators (excluding the Power Master Generators own-brand range) is provided by the respective manufacturer or their authorised Australian representative. Warranty claims for these products are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms, conditions, and assessment procedures.
Power Master Generators will provide reasonable assistance in facilitating warranty claims; however, the final determination of warranty eligibility rests with the manufacturer or its authorised service agent.
Power Master Generators Warranty
Power Master Generators warrants its own-brand generators against defects in materials, workmanship, and manufacturing under normal operating conditions.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific model, the warranty period is 12 or 24 months, or 1,000/2000 operating hours (whichever occurs first) from the date of the original invoice or shipment. Warranty periods vary between models. Please refer to the individual product specifications or contact our customer service team for confirmation of the applicable warranty period.
Power Master Generators will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or provide an appropriate remedy for any product found to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship during the applicable warranty period.
Warranty Conditions
To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:
- Operate the equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s operating instructions.
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance as recommended.
- Retain proof of purchase.
- Allow warranty repairs to be carried out only by Power Master Generators or an authorised service agent, unless prior written approval has been obtained.
Unauthorised modifications, alterations, repairs, misuse, or improper installation may void the warranty.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear consistent with the age and use of the product.
- Damage resulting from accidents, impact, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper storage, or incorrect operation.
- Failure to carry out routine maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Damage caused by overloading, incorrect fuel, contaminated fuel, lack of lubrication, overheating, or use in
- unsuitable environmental conditions.
- Consumable items and service parts, including but not limited to filters, spark plugs, oils, lubricants, belts,
- batteries, fuses, and similar components unless defective at the time of purchase.
- Freight, transport, travel, accommodation, or associated costs incurred in relation to warranty inspections or repairs, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Products that have been modified, altered, or repaired without the prior written approval of Power Master Generators.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Battery Maintenance – Electric Start & Auto-Start Generators
All electric start and automatic standby generators draw a small amount of electrical current from the battery, even when the generator is not in operation. Over time, this may result in the battery becoming discharged, which can affect starting performance and battery life.
To ensure reliable operation, Power Master Generators strongly recommends the following:
Maintain Battery Charge: Connect the battery to a suitable automatic trickle charger, maintenance charger, or compatible solar charger whenever the generator is not in regular use.
Extended Storage: If the generator will be stored for an extended period, disconnect the battery or install a battery isolator and maintain the battery using a suitable charger in accordance with the battery manufacturer’s recommendations.
Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect the battery, terminals, electrolyte levels (where applicable), and charging system to ensure they remain in good working condition.
Failure to maintain the battery in accordance with these recommendations may result in a flat or damaged battery. Battery failures caused by lack of maintenance, improper storage, or failure to maintain battery charge are not covered under warranty.
Warranty Claims
Warranty claims will only be considered where the product has been operated, serviced, and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s operating and maintenance instructions.
Customers should retain service records, maintenance logs, inspection records, load test results, and receipts for servicing or replacement parts, as these may be requested to support a warranty claim.
Power Master Generators reserves the right to inspect the product before determining whether a warranty claim is approved.
Limitation of Warranty
Except for the rights and remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, this warranty constitutes the only voluntary warranty provided by Power Master Generators in respect of its own-brand products.
No dealer, distributor, employee, agent, or representative of Power Master Generators is authorised to make any representation, promise, or undertaking that extends or varies the terms of this warranty unless confirmed in writing by Power Master Generators.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Power Master Generators’ liability under this voluntary warranty is limited, at its option, to:
- repairing the product;
- replacing the product with the same or an equivalent product; or
- reimbursing the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
Special Product Build
Generators or equipment manufactured, assembled, modified, or configured to a customer’s specific requirements (“Special Product Builds”) are custom-made products.
Unless required by the Australian Consumer Law, Special Product Builds cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded once production has commenced. Orders for Special Product Builds are considered firm and binding upon acceptance by Power Master Generators.
Fraud Prevention
Power Master Generators actively monitors orders to minimise the risk of fraudulent transactions.
If an order is identified as potentially fraudulent, we may contact the customer to verify their identity or request additional information before processing the order.
If satisfactory verification cannot be obtained, or the requested information is not provided within a reasonable time, Power Master Generators reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund of any payment received.
To the extent permitted by law, Power Master Generators will not be liable for any loss, expense, delay, or inconvenience arising from the cancellation of a suspected fraudulent order.
Shipping & Delivery
Power Master Generators ships Australia-wide using reputable road, rail and air freight carriers. Delivery times vary depending on your location, product availability and the freight service selected.
Customers may nominate their own freight carrier or request a freight quotation from Power Master Generators prior to placing an order. Contact Us for Freight Price.
Delivery Conditions
Power Master Generators is not liable for any delay, losses and/or damage of items due to changes of delivery address after checkout, or mistakes made by buyers. Freight is based on the postcode given at checkout. Any changes in postcode could result in the freight charges increasing. products may not be available for immediate delivery. Power Master Generators will notify you if there will be any delays by phone or email.
- A physical street address must be supplied. We cannot deliver to Post Office Boxes.
- Some remote or regional locations may require collection from the nearest freight depot.
- Large generators and heavy equipment may require forklifts, cranes or other suitable unloading equipment
- at the delivery address. Any unloading equipment or labour required is the responsibility of the purchaser.
- Products weighing more than 30kg are generally unable to be manually unloaded by freight carriers due to workplace safety regulations.
- If no person is available to accept delivery during normal business hours, additional storage, redelivery or depot collection charges may apply and will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
If delivery details are changed after an order has been dispatched, additional freight charges may apply.
Although every reasonable effort is made to dispatch products promptly, some products may be temporarily unavailable or subject to manufacturing lead times. If a significant delay occurs, we will notify you by telephone or email.

All industrial and larger model generators may require access to forklifts or other specialised lifting equipment on site. Please discuss your delivery arrangements with our staff when you place your order.
Power Master Generators cannot and will not accept responsibility for delivery failures or delays by our third party delivery contractor.
Risk of damage to or loss of the Goods passes to the Client on Delivery and the Client should insure the Goods on or before Delivery.
POWERMASTER GENERATORS TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO GOODS FREIGHTED ON OUR CARRIERS. You should arrange your own insurance cover over the goods that you have ordered. Insurance is the buyers responsibility unless otherwise arranged with Power Master Generators in writing before dispatch of goods. Returns Policy
This Returns Policy is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind Returns
Subject to the exclusions below, unopened products and accessories may be returned within 14 days of delivery provided they are:
- unused;
- in their original packaging;
- in resaleable condition; and
- accompanied by proof of purchase.
Approved change-of-mind returns will incur:
- return freight at the customer’s expense; and
- a 20% restocking fee.
- Opened Products
Opened products
For hygiene, safety, and quality assurance reasons, opened electrical products, including generators, engines, electrical equipment, and other powered products, cannot be returned for change of mind once the manufacturer’s packaging or seals have been opened.
Opened non-electrical products and accessories may be accepted for return within 14 days of delivery at the discretion of Power Master Generators, provided they are unused, in as-new and resaleable condition, and include all original packaging, manuals, accessories, and documentation.
Approved returns of non-electrical products will incur:
- Return freight at the customer’s expense; and
- A 35% restocking fee to cover inspection, testing, cleaning, and repackaging.
This policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Products that are faulty, defective, damaged, or fail to meet the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law may be eligible for repair, replacement, or refund regardless of whether the packaging has been opened.
Unless required by the Australian Consumer Law, the following cannot be returned for change of mind:
- Special Product Builds;
- Opened electrical products supplied as a change-of-mind purchase
- custom-ordered products;
- Products that have been fuelled, installed, commissioned, connected to electrical systems, or used (unless they are being returned under the Australian Consumer Law or an applicable warranty).
- Products that are no longer in resaleable condition.
- Order Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled before dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, cancellation requests will be treated in accordance with this Returns Policy unless otherwise required under the Australian Consumer Law.
Freight Damage
Customers should inspect all goods before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt.
If damage is suspected, write “Possible Freight Damage” on the delivery receipt before signing.
If obvious damage is present, refuse delivery where possible and contact Power Master Generators immediately so we can assist in resolving the matter with the freight carrier.
Faulty or Defective Products
Customers should inspect and test products as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery.
If you believe your product is faulty, defective or not of acceptable quality, please contact Power Master Generators with your tax invoice, model number and serial number.
Where a product is found to be faulty, your remedies will be provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and, where applicable, the manufacturer’s warranty. Depending on the circumstances, this may include inspection, repair, replacement or refund.
Incorrect Items
If an incorrect product has been supplied, please notify Power Master Generators as soon as possible. We will arrange collection and provide either the correct product, a replacement or a refund, as appropriate.
Website Use
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that may damage, disrupt or interfere with the operation or security of the website or the use of the website by others.
Force Majeure
Power Master Generators will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, industrial disputes, pandemics, acts of government, supplier shortages, transport disruptions or other events of force majeure.
Performance of the affected obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event.
Termination
Power Master Generators may cancel any order or terminate any agreement where the purchaser breaches these Terms and Conditions, becomes insolvent, enters liquidation, has a receiver or administrator appointed, or otherwise becomes unable to fulfil its obligations.
